I am so excited to be making this again. When I was living in New York City , I would come home after a hot humid day and this would quench my thirst and replenish electrolytes. It is a spin on an ice cream date shake, even though it does taste like dessert you can rest assured that you will be drinking a nutrition powerhouse. The bonus is that kids love it too, and it is a great way to sneak in omega 3’s in your child’s diet. This is a great shake to break your fast with, whether you are practicing intermittent fasting, or fasting for Ramadan. The added ginger helps with loss of appetite, nausea, or migraines after a long fast.
